Healthcare · Finance · Operations

Software built for the places where uptime is not optional.

We build custom web applications — scheduling systems, staff and client portals, and the integrations behind them — for healthcare, finance and the operations-heavy businesses where the internal system is the business.

What we do

Four ways we get put to work

Most engagements start as one of these and grow into the others. We are equally comfortable building something from a blank page or untangling a platform someone else left behind.

Custom web applications

Our core work. Purpose-built platforms for the workflow you actually have — not the one a packaged product assumes. Role-based access, reporting, and an audit trail from day one.

  • Scheduling systems — coverage rules, credentials, rotations
  • Portals — staff, client, patient and vendor self-service
  • Case management and intake workflows
  • Operational dashboards and reporting

Mobile applications

Field-ready iOS and Android apps for staff who are not sitting at a desk — offline-tolerant, fast on bad connections, and built to survive a real shift.

  • Cross-platform native builds
  • Offline-first data sync
  • Push notifications and shift alerts
  • App Store and MDM deployment support

CRM & ERP implementation

Selection, configuration, data migration and adoption. We implement the platform you chose and we tell you honestly when the platform is the wrong answer.

  • Requirements and platform selection
  • Configuration, custom modules and automation
  • Legacy data migration and reconciliation
  • Training, documentation and hypercare

Integration & systems consulting

The connective tissue: APIs, middleware, interface engines and data pipelines that make two systems behave like one. Plus the architecture review that says whether they should.

  • REST, SOAP, HL7 v2 and FHIR interfaces
  • Single sign-on (SAML, OIDC) and directory sync
  • Legacy modernization and data warehousing
  • Technical due diligence and architecture review

Who we build for

Where a mistake is expensive

Most of our work has been for healthcare and finance teams — places where a scheduling error becomes a staffing failure and a reconciliation error becomes a real number. Everything that discipline taught us benefits every other client we take on.

Hospitals & health systems

Staff scheduling, patient-facing portals, referral and intake workflows, and interfaces to the EHR. PHI is treated as PHI at every layer — not bolted on before go-live.

Finance & accounting operations

Billing, job costing, reconciliation and management reporting — the workflows where finance teams are still moving numbers between systems by hand.

Operations-heavy businesses

Logistics, professional services, construction, non-profit and multi-site operators — from a first internal tool to a full platform replacement.

How we engineer

Compliance is a build decision, not a checklist at the end

Retrofitting security and accessibility into a finished product is the most expensive way to fail an audit. We make those decisions at architecture time, where they are cheap.

Ask us for the artifacts. Architecture diagrams, data-flow documentation, control mappings, VPAT input and test evidence are deliverables on our projects — not an extra line item after award.

  • Least-privilege access by designRole-based permissions, SSO, MFA, and session controls scoped to the narrowest job function.
  • Encryption everywhere it mattersTLS 1.2+ in transit, AES-256 at rest, managed key rotation, and no PHI in logs.
  • Immutable audit trailsWho did what, to which record, at what time — queryable and exportable for investigators.
  • Accessibility as acceptance criteriaWCAG 2.1 AA conformance tested with automated and manual passes.
  • Documented, transferable codeYou own the repository, the infrastructure definitions and the runbooks. No hostage architecture.

How an engagement runs

Predictable from the first call to the last handoff

No mystery, no open-ended discovery bill. You know the scope, the schedule and the number before anyone writes a line of production code.

01

Scoping call

Sixty minutes on your workflow, your constraints and your deadline. We leave with enough to price the work — you leave with an honest read on feasibility.

02

Fixed proposal

Written scope, architecture summary, milestone schedule, acceptance criteria and price. Fixed-fee or time-and-materials, your call.

03

Build in the open

Two-week increments with a working environment you can use. Weekly status, a live backlog, and no surprises at the demo.

04

Launch & support

Migration, training, documentation and a defined hypercare window — then ongoing support at an agreed SLA, or a clean handoff to your team.

What you get

The same four things, every engagement

Whatever the scope, these do not change. They are the part of the work we will not negotiate away to hit a number.

  • Working software every two weeksNot a status deck. An environment you can open and click through.
  • Your code, your cloud, your keysEverything we build transfers to you, including the infrastructure definitions.
  • Documentation people can actually useRunbooks, admin guides and training material written for your staff, not for us.
  • A direct line, not a ticket queueQuestions go to whoever wrote the code, not through someone relaying messages.

Common questions

The things people ask on the first call

How fast can you actually start?

Scoping calls are usually available within two business days. For a defined project we can typically have a team allocated and a kickoff scheduled within one to two weeks of a signed agreement — faster when there is a contract deadline driving it.

Do you work fixed-price or time-and-materials?

Both. Fixed-fee suits well-defined scopes and procurement processes that need a hard number. Time-and-materials suits discovery-heavy or long-running work. We will tell you which one actually fits your project rather than defaulting to whichever is better for us.

Who owns the code?

You do. Deliverables include the source repository, infrastructure-as-code, environment configuration and operational runbooks. We do not hold clients hostage through architecture, hosting or undocumented systems.

Can you sign a BAA and handle PHI?

Yes. We execute Business Associate Agreements and design to HIPAA Security Rule requirements — access control, audit logging, encryption, transmission security and breach-notification procedures — as part of the build rather than as a remediation phase.

Can you work under another firm's contract?

Yes. We are comfortable delivering as a subcontractor, working inside your reporting cadence, security requirements and change process. Send us the terms you need us to work under and we will tell you plainly whether we can meet them.

Next step

Tell us what needs to exist.

A sixty-minute call, no obligation, and a straight answer on whether we are the right firm for it. If we are not, we will say so and point you somewhere better.
