Close to the work.

You deal directly with the people building your system. Nothing is relayed through an account manager, and nothing gets lost between the person who scoped the work and the person doing it.

Why we exist

Most enterprise software fails for unglamorous reasons

Not because the technology was too hard. Because nobody agreed on the process before it was automated, the data was never cleaned, the people who had to use it were never asked, and the compliance requirements arrived two weeks before go-live.

J&J Tech Group was formed to do that work properly for organizations that cannot afford the usual outcome — hospitals where a scheduling failure becomes a staffing failure, staffing operations where a lapsed credential becomes a liability, and companies where the internal system is the business.

We are based in Knoxville, Tennessee, and work with clients nationwide. Our deliverables belong to our clients, and we say no to work we are not the right firm for. That last one costs us revenue and earns us the projects that matter.

Leadership

The two names on the door

You will work with them directly. That is the entire point of hiring a firm this size.

Jamey Pritchard, Co-Founder of J&J Tech Group, LLC

Jamey Pritchard

Co-Founder · Operations & Strategy

Jamey focuses on business strategy, operational design, client development and the workforce management solutions J&J builds for complex operating environments.

He brings more than twenty years of leadership and operations experience across workforce management, recruiting, scheduling and organizational development. His specialty is the unglamorous part: finding the manual process quietly costing an organization money, designing a structured workflow to replace it, and putting a system behind it that makes performance visible and accountable.

That experience is current rather than historical — he also serves as Chief Operating Officer at ERx Clinical Partners, which keeps him close to the daily realities of scheduling, credentialing and hospital operations. Earlier he held leadership roles in physician recruiting and senior management, and was founder and CEO of a physician staffing company.

He also served more than a decade in the United States Air Force in operations management and leadership roles — a grounding in structured process, accountability and mission readiness that still shapes how he runs a project.

At J&J he works at the intersection of people, process, data and technology, sitting with clients to understand what their operation actually requires and translating it into software their staff will use.

Jesus Sosa

Co-Founder · Engineering & Architecture

Jesus owns the engineering side of J&J: how a system is structured, what it connects to, how it is secured, and whether it will still be maintainable three years after launch.

He has spent more than a decade in the Zoho ecosystem and holds more than six Zoho certifications, working across CRM, Creator, Analytics, Deluge and the API layer that ties those platforms to everything else a business runs. He holds a computer science degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and has served as an IT Director — which means he has sat on the client's side of the table, owning infrastructure, budgets and vendor relationships rather than only delivering into them.

He is also founder and owner of Express Automation Solutions, an advanced Zoho partner practice. That work keeps him current on what actually ships: multi-cloud integration across Azure, AWS and Google Cloud, custom application development, workflow automation, analytics, and more recently AI integrated directly into day-to-day business systems.

At J&J he makes the technical decisions and owns the handover. Every system is built so the client's own team can run it without calling us — documented, transferable, and free of the architecture tricks that keep a vendor in the picture forever.

How we operate

Five commitments we will put in the contract

These are not values on a wall. Each one is something a client can hold us to, and each one has cost us money at least once.

01

We scope honestly, including when the answer is no

If your problem is better solved by a product you can buy, a process change, or a firm with a capability we lack, we will tell you on the first call. A bad-fit project damages both of us.

02

You own everything we build

Source code, infrastructure definitions, credentials, documentation and runbooks transfer to you. If you decide to take the system in-house or to another vendor, nothing about our architecture makes that difficult.

03

Bad news travels fast

Slipping schedules and technical dead ends get reported the week we discover them, not at the milestone review. Early bad news is a manageable problem; late bad news is a crisis.

04

Security and accessibility are not phases

They are architecture decisions made in week one, where they cost nothing, instead of remediation performed in month nine, where they cost everything.

05

We build for the person doing the work

The nurse at 3 a.m., the caseworker with forty files open, the driver in the rain. If the system is not faster than what it replaced, it will not be used, and the project failed regardless of what the acceptance document says.

And one thing we will not do

Claim a certification, credential or capability we do not have. If a project needs something we cannot do, we say so plainly instead of hoping nobody checks.

Working together

Three ways clients engage us

Fixed-scope project

A defined system, a written scope, milestone-based acceptance and a fixed fee. Best when procurement needs a hard number and the requirements are knowable up front.

Dedicated capacity

A committed team for a set number of months against a rolling backlog. Best for long-running modernization where the destination is clear but the route is not.

Advisory retainer

Architecture oversight, vendor evaluation and technical review on a monthly retainer. Best when you have an internal team and need an outside read rather than more hands.

Next step

Sixty minutes will tell you a lot.

Bring the problem, the constraints and the deadline. You will leave the call knowing whether we are the right firm for it.
