Custom web application development
Our core practice. Full-lifecycle design, development, testing and deployment of secure web applications — scheduling systems, workforce management, case management and customer-facing portals.
What we do, how deep it goes, how an engagement is structured, and what belongs to you when it is finished. Written to be read in one pass and forwarded without editing.
Core competencies
Our core practice. Full-lifecycle design, development, testing and deployment of secure web applications — scheduling systems, workforce management, case management and customer-facing portals.
API, middleware and interface development including REST, SOAP, HL7 v2, FHIR R4, CCDA, SFTP and event-driven messaging between clinical, administrative and financial systems.
Requirements analysis, platform selection, configuration, custom module development, data migration and reconciliation, user training and post-deployment support.
Assessment and incremental replacement of end-of-life systems, including data extraction and migration, phased cutover planning and interim interface support.
Infrastructure-as-code deployment on AWS and Azure, containerized workloads, automated CI/CD with approval gates, centralized logging, monitoring and incident runbooks.
Architecture and security assessments, accessibility audits, technical due diligence, systems roadmapping and fractional technical leadership.
Technical depth
We pick tools your next engineer will already know and your security team will already have approved. Novelty is a cost, and where the data matters it is a liability.
Sensitive data
These are engineering practices, not certifications. They describe how we design a system in the first week — which is the only point at which they are cheap.
We will sign a BAA before protected health information is discussed in any detail, and we hold any subprocessor we use to the same obligations.
How we engage
A defined system, a written scope, milestone-based acceptance and a fixed fee. Best when the requirements are knowable up front and you need a hard number.
A committed team for a set number of months against a rolling backlog. Best for longer modernization work where the destination is clear but the route is not.
Architecture oversight, vendor evaluation and technical review, monthly. Best when you have an internal team and need an outside read rather than more hands.
At the end of an engagement you hold everything needed to run, change or move the system without us. That is a design constraint we accept up front, not a courtesy at the end.
Straight talk
J&J Tech Group is a new firm. We would rather say that plainly than dress this page up with credentials we have not earned.
What we do bring is careful engineering, a short line of communication, and a system you own outright at the end. If that is not enough for the requirement in front of you, we will say so and point you somewhere better.
